Artemisia
Artemisia is inspired by the Renaissance painter Artemisia Gentileschi and the spiral of fierce women that have followed in her wake. The artist is named after the goddess Artemis, the protector of both chastity and the hunt. This duality in defined femininity infuses this collection. Each piece is named after an artist or muse who expressed their womanhood as well as their power in their balancing light and shadow, just as Gentileschi did in her paintings.
